Renting a studio

I recommend renting a studio for your boudoir session for the following reasons:

• It’s a neutral space and there are many beautiful studios in the DFW area

• It will be pre-stocked with beautiful furniture

• It’s a private secluded space

Boudoir Portrait Sessions

First of all, congratulations on asking about boudoir portraits. Most women are a bit on the timid side about asking for and committing to boudoir photos. They’re intimate. They’re innately personal. If I could tell you three things about a boudoir shoot before you get one, it would be this -

1. You are in total control of what happens at the shoot. If you want to be covered the whole time, that’s okay. If you want to be fully nude, that’s okay too. Your comfort level is my top priority.

2. Your size or shape should never stop you from getting boudoir portraits. I’ll tell you something I don’t EVER share. I weigh more than 200 lbs. I wear a size 20 and I have LOVED my boudoir experiences. I treat every boudoir client with the utmost respect and care for their body. And trust me - posing is EVERYTHING.

3. You will be nervous. And that’s okay. We will work up to comfortability. We will start out with the tamer clothes and poses and work up to the ‘saucy’ ones. When in doubt, read #1 again :)

Studio Rental

There are several studios I have used in the DFW area. I take care of the rental and include the cost in your invoice. I rent them for 2-3 hours at a time. The total cost of the studio will vary but ranges from $150-$400 depending on the studio.

Hair and Make-Up

I do provide hair and make-up if desired. I am not a licensed cosmetologist, but I have done makeup for several of my boudoir clients. If you would like to include this in your package it is $50 and includes soft waves for hair, airbrush foundation, and lashes.

Portraits

The portrait session fee will include the photoshoot, professional editing, and a digital gallery with all of your images in color and black and white (print release is also included. You will receive at least 25 images. The fee is $350+tax
